Dr. Ben Neel is Director of the NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center and a Professor in the Department of Medicine. He leads an academic community of clinician-scientists and basic scientists, as well as a team of dedicated physicians.

Dr. Neel and his team give patients access to novel therapies and experimental treatments through clinical trials. He also oversees the advancement of the center’s translation programs in immunotherapy, cancer genetics, targeted therapies and epigenetics, as well as imaging, community outreach and supportive oncology.
